Welcome St. John’s New Catholics
We congratulate our St John’s RCIA Candidates Kiefer Fuller & Paula Grieb who received the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation, and Rebecca Joy who received Confirmation, at the evening Easter Vigil Service. We pray for all the new members whom we have welcomed in the Easter Vigil, that they may have the help of the Holy Spirit to persevere faithfully in the choices they have made. And for our parishioners and friends, that we have received the gift of faith, so too may we persevere in it to the end of our lives.

Devotional Votive Candle Stand: Be sure to stop and pray at our Devotional Votive Candle Stand in front of the Blessed Mother Statue located on the left side of the main altar.

The stand holds 36 electric candles and the cost is $2.oo per candle and the candle will stay on for 2 hours.

Mass Scheduling Book for 2025: Will be Available October 22nd Beginning Tuesday October 22nd the new book will be available for scheduling Mass intentions for 2025. Please note we honor two intentions per Mass. As always, we will do our best to accommodate all Mass intention requests. If you would like to book a Mass intention at any time during the year of 2023-2024 you may do so by email info@stjohncombridge.org or calling the rectory at 617-547-4880

Baptisms: Please call the office at 617-547-4880 for information. Baptism are usually held at the 4 pm Mass on Saturdays, but exceptions can be made if required.

Mass Times

Weekend Masses are held Saturdays at 4 PM (cantor), Sundays at 9 AM (cantor) and Sundays at 11 AM (choir- except summer) all in the upstairs church.
NOTE: If needed, We have Gluten Free Host available upon request
Creole mass Sundays at 4:30 PM in the upper church.

Daily Mass will be celebrated at 12:10 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays in the LOWER church. Communion Service Friday 7:00 AM in the LOWER church.

Reconciliation (Confessions) Saturdays 3:30-3:50PM in the upper church..

Charismatic Prayer Sponsored by the Haitian Community: Thursday 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.

Masses on Boston Catholic TV are broadcasts on Comcast channel 268, RCN channel 85, Verizon channel 296 at 10 a.m., and 4, 7 and 11:30 p.m. Sunday Spanish Mass airs live at 8 a.m. and is rebroadcast at 5:30 and 10 pm.
